I have a 2002 Hunter 356, which I have had in Florida for the last 4 years, which allows me to opportunity to use the boat year round.
I have the standard roller furling jib and in mast roller furling. I am finding the sails are showing significantly more wear than I am used to. Having always been a New England sailor with the usual short season, I have never experienced the need for so much sail maintenance.
It seems like every several months the sails are off the boat for significant repair/restitching. They are going to the sail loft tomorrow for some restitching and a pretty significant tear in the sail cloth
My question is what do you believe I can expect for sail life on the stock production boat sails.
