Stanchions for a Hunter 31

We are in the process of replacing the lifelines and would like to install one gate on our 1984 Hunter 31.

Can anyone direct me to a site or part numbers to purchase a stanchion with brace. I intend on reusing one of the existing stanchions and a brace to it.

Does anyone know off the top of their head the height of the stanchions. Our boat is 2 hours away and I forgot to measure last weekend when I went down to check on it.

In stead of adding a gate, we just reversed the life line from the last stanchion to the stern pulpit.

Just bought mine from Defender.com.Good prices.Also Suncor Quick attach Pelican hooks.No tools needed to shorten lifeline and add hooks

I recently replaced my 1987 Hunter 31 original sagging vinyl-coated life lines with 3/16” diameter bare 316 stainless steel lifelines. I did this through a local rigger. His cost was low. The biggest was the pelican hooks.

I have to replace 2 stanchions on my H28. When I bought the boat there was a new one in the aft locker. I looked for part numbers- nothing. The picture shows it to be exactly 24" with the middle hole at 12-1/4" from the top. Maybe of some help.
