Stanchions and Lifelines -Winter Project

I am planning some winter projects for my '84 Hunter 20. One of which is Lifelines and 18" stanchions. Any suggestions would be helpful. Specifically, I am looking for a place to get affordable stanchions, as I am looking to do it on a budget. -I can't resist the urge to tinker.
