I looked and didn't see any.

Ken, ferules are the tubes that go inside of the holes in the stanchions that the lifelines pass through. They keep the sharp edges of the tubes from cutting up the lifelines.

get you some 3/8 inch tubeing an a flaring tool and make you some ...i dont know where to get them unless you try McMaster carr...good luck

Thanks Woodster. I have a flaring tool so finding some tubing shouldn't be that hard. I was also doing some research, and a guy took the tubing and flared it with a couple of 3/4 inch ball bearings in a vise. I think a flaring tool would be easier.

use thin wall tubeing its is easyer to flare......

Provided that the stanchions are otherwise in sound condition, I second Woodster's suggestion.

It's what I did seven years ago when I bought my 1980 Cherubini Hunter 36. The drilled holes through the stanchions had plastic inserts much like the protective washers one uses to route electrical wires through plate metal, like a car firewall. Over time these became brittle fell away.

Get the SS tubing. Cut to about 3/8" longer than the diameter of the stanchion. Insert into the existing Stanchion hole. Flare both sides of the SS tubing.
