Stanchion base bracket

I have a 1984 Hunter 34. Does anyone know where I can acquire or have 4 of the stanchion brackets that connect to the toe-rail. I would like to move the gates from the stern to mid-ship.

Randy if yours are the same as the ones on a H40 which are bolted through the toe rail with a wire support bracket that is attached to the deck with two screws about 1" up the tube, then try these folks. They had three or four there that were in good shape and they wanted $45 each which is less than 1/2 of what they are new.

I'm not connected with Marine Consignment in any way other than have used them to sale some items for me and these are not mine to sale. A 48" Edson Wheel that they have on the other had is.

Call Hunter Marine in Alatchua, Fl and talk to the parts dept. You can probably get some there. You will have to define the base dimensions and whether you have the metal toe rail (with slots in it) or the molded in fiberglas toe rail. I have a 1990 H-33.5 and found that there are the 2 style stantion bases based on the type toe rail you have. I have the molded in fiberglas toe rail.

Good luck. I also have a 1984 H-34 and have been looking for stanchion bases and the toe rail for the past year. Hunter does not have a stock of either nor is the original manufacturer around. The best I have been able to do is find several shops that will fabricate the parts. Let me know if you would like some references.

Thanks. I gave them a call and it looks like I got a source. Thanks again. Now, if you knew of a source for those stanchion bases I would up that beer I owe you to a six pack ;)
