We had a bit of back-up in the head for a couple of weeks but this has been
repaired. I found the little 3/4 inch dia. black ball that was keeping the intake
lines from working...now I need to use something to remove the stains at the bottom of the bowl without doing damage to the head itself. Have visited the
Raritan site (PHII head) and see KO and it's companion product but am unsure if either of these will remove the unsightly stains lfe when the water backed up.
Any suggestions or should I call Raritan tomorrow. The head is working
very well, now that the ball is in place and the wasp nest removed from the
vent thru hull......thanks for any suggestions. Pat

A little Comet on a wet (somewhere between damp and dripping) paper towel should take care of the problem. Wipe as much up as possible before flushing with clean water.

A LITTLE of anything on a sponge, scrubbie pad or wet paper towel isn't enough to matter....you're gonna scrub with it, then wipe it up. What causes the problems are the quart of bleach flushed down the toilet, or the trigger sprayer carpeting the whole bowl with PineSol or a chemical bowl cleaner that can cause problems or even do damage to the system.
