.................... that Hunter would give out SS cleaner and polish with your new boat. Good SS never needs polishing. I've never touched the SS tubing on my boat and it still has a mirror polish.

I think if you look at the oldest, most dilapidated boats in your marina, their SS is also bright and shiny (after you wipe the dirt off) even though the rest of the boat is ready to sink.

If SS polish is selling that well, there's got to be a lot of poor SS quality (low chromium) on the later model boats.

Joking

You must be joking or pulling my chain or some thing.
Never seen a sailboat that did not need it's stainless cleaned for sure unless they are sneaking in the middle of the night cleaning the stainless.

..................... why SS railings on boats around here always seem to be in good condition. Maybe it's the fact that we get about 40 inches of rain/year which keeps them well washed and free of chemical pollutants which would dull the surface over the years.

I can attest to the difference in climates affect on stainless. Twenty-seven years on the Great Lakes and I never saw a red stain anywhere on the stainless of Ladylove. Two summers in Florida and the stainless was awful. And that was with cleaning and waxing!
