Stack pack
I've got a 2001 H340 that has the standard rig and came with Hunter'sversion of the stack pack.It was somewhat difficult to work with at first because of unfamilararity and the stiffness of the new sails. Now after two months of learning and softening, we're happy with it. It makes lowering the sail a snap. Just drop it. What we do is just release the halyard while still out on the water, gather in whatever happens to be in the way of visibility, and then stow the sail once we get into the slip. it can be asily done by one person (does require a short "balancing act" on top of the arch to get started) but it stows away neatly and quickly. As a comparison, we owned a H28 that we stowed the mainsail with conventional sail ties and a cover. On the H340 we stow twice the square footage of sail in about half the time.Heading out is even easier. Just unzip the cover and you're ready to sail.Overall, very happy with it.
