Need help !!!!! I need the size (demensions) for a stabilizing sail for my Catalina 30. It has a split backstay so I will need to run it up the backstay above the split with the main halyard, which also supports the boom as I have a Forespar boom vang which must be supported when not sailing. I have been given dimensions by my sailmaker but want to verify with someone who may have one: Foot - 6.25 feet - Luff -8 feet - and the leech 9 feet. Thank you to anyone who has the correct answer !!!!!

I just made one for my Cat30. The size I went with is 7x7x7. I tried it out this last weekend and it works great. I also raise it above the split backstay. I put the tack to the ring on my backstay adjuster and use the adjuster as a downhaul for the sail to get it super tight. The sail has to be very tight to function properly. Anyway, any size will probably work fine. Your specs look great. I also added and "anchor angel" as I'm tired of sailing around on my anchor. Sean
