Just took delivery of a 2003 B361 and on the way to the new slip I noticed the reading on the st6001+ autopilot is 180 degrees off of the compass reading. I also noticed on the RL70 chartplotter screen that the time is one hour behind actual time (Pacific Time). How do I adjust these settings?

With the autopilot in calibrate mode, you have to travel in a couple of slow 360 degree circles in an open area so that the fluxgate compass can find itself. Hopefully you have the original manual for the autopilot to help explain this.

As for the RL70, there should be a "setup" menu there that allows you to set the time.

I have seen in other threads, if it is off 180, reverse the wires (I believe it was) from the fluxgate. You really do need the owners manual for the 6001, as there are way too many options for you to seek all the answers to on this forum. I suggest click on every button, on every option, and see where it leads you. You need to learn and know all your boat's systems.

Ron brings up a point.
The rudder position indicator/hydraulic cylinder is actually installed upside down on the rudder actuator (at least on the Beneteau 323). Hence the position indicated would be opposite the actual rudder position. Two wires at the autopilot control box are necessarily reversed. However, these are the rudder position leads and not the fluxgate compass inputs.

I'm 900 miles away from my boat so I can't get a good look at the wire connections. I may have a photo somewhere that illustrates this. I'll post it if I can find it.
