My ST60 Wind Display bit the dust. Raymarine wants 225$ for a repair and will give a 6mo warranty or I can purchase a new one for 370$ and get 2 years of warranty?

All the bits are replaceable. Raymarine can supply cups and/or vane and new bearings are available from a good bearing shop. I have done mine. Take one of the old bearings in to find a match or read the code with a magnifying glass.
just checked my file and the bearings on my ST50 are yours are probably identical:-
The bearing code is DD 830 ZZ which means OD 8mm, ID 3mm, width 4mm and ZZ means non-contacting shield. Two bearings from NMB in Japan.

Thanks for the reply...but it is the Display Unit that is defective, not the masthead unit.

My ST-60 Wind display unit is also non-functional. The folks at Raymarine told me to just replace it with a new one and never mentioned a repair option. Where can you buy a new one for $370? All the units I have seen are around $500.
