For those with Hunter boats that have a console style helm-does the motor drive unit for the ST4000 sit to the side of the console, or was it necessary to cut a hole in the console to allow for the motor?

I installed one on my prior boat,
(funny, I'm another former 29.5 owner that has a 410 now). I installed the motor and yes it required drilling a hole. It was not that big a deal. I bought a hole saw for my drill that the motor would fit inside, so that I knew ther would be clearance. Careful planning is necessary. Most important was to pick a spot for the hole with nothing behind it. Worked great for the 4 seasons I had the 29.5.

I don't remember for sure on my 2001 290,I think the helm console looks like my 290 as the same on your 320.
I guess from the photo it does look like the wheel motor is in the console because it looks like there is no room for it on the side.
I don't know for sure where it really is in the photo.
