Just bought the above, 1999 boat has wheel steering. Any sugestions would be nice.. like where to place the key pad, and Fluxgate, any problems, solutions.... THANKS Baums Rush 260 Hunter

I Installed Autopilot and Pedesta Guard last yr
John, See related web site for the work I did last year. It's not hard just time cosuming to make sure you get everything right. Installed everything myself. You want to place the flux gate as low as possible and centerline to the boat. About the only place that fits that description is the board that seals off the transom where the battery and holding tank is. I just mounted it to the board on the inside.
