I have a 1998 H310 with a ST30 speed indicator that is reading 0.0. I have removed the transducer for cleaning and turning the paddle wheel still results in a 0.0 reading. Assuming the transducer is bad, I need to confirm that a thru-hull transducer, Raymarine Model E26031, that I have found online would be a replacement for the ST30. Some of the descriptions I have seen say it works with the ST30 or ST60 and compatible with the ST70 and ST290 but I am not 100% convinced it will fit the existing thru-hull. I have scoured the forum archives here but didn't really find what I was looking for. Anyone with a similar experience and could help here would be much appreciated. Thanks.

You probably cannot spin it fast enough to get even 0.1 knots to read on the display. Try this: set the display to show the log (NM gone) and then go spin the paddle wheel for a while. If you see ANY increase in log reading the transducer is OK.

Thanks, Bill, I'll give it a shot next time I get to the boat.

FYI update, I replaced my old ST30 speed transducer with the Raymarine Model E26031 and it fit and worked perfectly. Now, my boat is back to 100% for the moment :)
