ST30 Knotmeter Kaput

My ST30 knotmeter stopped working. I've checked all the obvious. The paddlewheel is clean and spins freely. I've checked and cleaned the connections on the display. What it has done on two occassions, once at the dock and once while sailing, is all of a sudden display a high speed like 61 knots and then count down erratically back to 0.Thoughts?

Difficult Test

It is very difficult to test this system without a spare transducer. You can make sure that each of the paddle wheels on the transducer seem to be magnetized, but they will most likely be OK. You should probably have one of our technicians take a look at the instrument for you before replacing the transducer.Part numbers:NN-114..............ST30 paddle Wheel KitQ094................ST30 Speed Transducer (1.7" hole size)
