Already did the trip north from Grenada to Tobago Cays - it was awesome! Did it in April and had 15 knot consistent winds and 70 degree day and night. Now I want to do St. Vincent south to Tobago Cays this December. Looking for a good bareboat with 4 cabins for a week, but gosh, the prices are high! Looks like the pinnacle of the high season around the Christmas holidays. Anybody have experience in this neck of the woods with charters? Particular boats they favor (and why)? Has anyone sailed it in December (they say consistent Force 6 winds?)? Many thanks.

Christmas week is the highest prices of the year, anywhere. Expect it to reach beyond the boat prices, but everywhere ashore, too. Just be prepared. Check the sailings mags listings for a boat (even the big charterers).
