So the wife/first mate has me talked into going with her on spring break the last week in March to Florida. We will be seeing the oldest town and oldest house in america(US OF A) and I would like to see some sailing while we are there. If anyone has any helpful suggestions. Member, I typed "helpful suggestions"...Anyway, even if we only sail a couple of days it will make up for the cold, snow and ice we've been having in Jesse (the governor's state) Minnesota, and make up for having to look at the oldest house...of course it could be worse, I could be forced to go to Disneyworld. Thanks in advance, mates. Bob Schmit

Here are some tips

St. Augustine is a great sailing city. I believe that there is still a rental company operating out of Comachee Cove Marina. You might give Capt. Mora Morris a call at Whitney's Sail Center (904-269-0027). She sold us our H-450 and she also lives in St. Augustine. She will be at the boat show in Miami next week, so you might have to leave a message for her at the office. Good luck and good choice for a vacation spot. Be sure to go eat at Saltwater Cowboy's and the Ale House (at the foot of the Bridge of Lions).

Bob, I live here in St augusitine. Our Hunter is docked a Comanche Cove and there is a sailing school there that does bareboat. This is a very nice place. The Harbor Restaurant at the cove is very good also. If you need any other info you can email me at RMcClel123@aol.com. Have a Great Day! Robert
