ST 60 close hauled

I am interested in adding a ST60 close hauled indicator to my ST60 suite of instruments, but I worry that the delay in the sea talk bus will make the reading nearly useless. I have noticed a siginificant delay in the display of parameters on my remote display for the 400 autopilot. Does the sea talk data bus give prioriity to any parameters or do they just get in line and wait for the next avaliable slot.TX Frank Walker

"Instantaneous"

The Close Hauled instrument should be fairly instantaneous. Yes, there has to be some delay because of SeaTalk, but it is very minimal between these two instruments. I don't take any calls complaining about this setup, and I can barely notice any delay with these two instruments connected at my bench.
