Replacing all thruhulls & valves in my 1976 H30. I see SS is an option and am considering replacing all with SS. I sail in Corpus Christi bay. If I do this the only underwater metal of different material will be the bronze propshaft strut. Then the second question is to bond or not to bond? Presently, there is no bonding on my boat thru hulls.

If you are made of money, then go SS, but Bronze is what most people use (or Marelon if you want to go plastic).

You should not use SS below the waterline. As for bonding, there is no proof that bonding does anything, good or bad.
