My rudder shaft has started squeaking this spring. It was replaced 3 years ago due to slop in the bearing. There is not much slop in it now but the squeak is bothering me in case it is a prelude to something worse. I am not familiar with the bearing set up on the rudder shaft and was wondering if anyone else has run into this situation?
