Squat problems on a 31'

We purchased this vessel in late 2000. I noticed that it made water when motoring/when she squated. I've continued my replacement process: cockpit thru hulls, hose, inspected everything from the exhaust hose to the waterlift, rudder, shaft log and what I can see of the strut. I even drilled a small hole under the fuel tank in hopes that this was just "accumulated" water from rain. It still appears to leak from somewhere! This only happens when the stern squats (generally under power). If you have a similar experience with remedie, please advise. Thanks!

Items to check

Dave; Check the cockpit thru hull fittings on the stern. check the routing of your bilge pump hose and make sure it has a high loop above the water line, so water can't siphon back into the bilge. I have also installed a check valve on the pickup line in the bilge. This was recommended to me by a fellow in Fla. a number of years ago. He had a number of O'Day 30's in charter and one of them sank because water siphoned back into the boat via the bilge pump. Capn Jim of Que Pasa?
