I bought a square weave mainsail from Doyle/Boston for Hull #4764 in 1996. I won the 2000 Nationals with it, and it was still in excellent shape when I sold the boat in 2002. I wouldn't worry about having a square weave dacron main. That is what was recommended for a new main for my new C-320 last year, so it still seems to be the state of the Darcon art.
