I'm going backwards. Just removed my rudder so I could remove my propshaft. All in an effort to install my dripless shaft seal.

My yard has been locked up with a gate and a no trespassing sign. No progress whatsoever. I'm thinking they don't want vehicles on the dirt carving ruts in the turf/mud. Still I'd like to get in with my multi tester and a few tools to chase down some problems from last year. I guess I will part ways with yet another boatyard.

Our launch is hopefully going to be mid-May. We just need the lake to fill up three or more feet.

My marina usually opens around April 1.

I removed and reinstalled my port-side water tank, installed LED lights, ordered new halyard, sewed up my Mack Pack.

Need to bottom paint, but usually go to Crowley’s Yacht-palooza in late March (March 24 this year) for paint. Fun event, they have various instruction classes, lots of vendors, a big rummage sale of old stuff, etc. if you are in the Chicago Area, http://crowleys.com/yachtapalooza-2018

Still need some warm weather though! Well below freezing most nights. Still waiting to pull the Roadster out of storage too.

Sweet new stern seat frames...
On the boat a problem. The Stem Bases do not align with the deck holes. Opps.. Back to the shop. Measure twice cut once. Shop guy said the new seats can hold up to 300 lbs.:)

Hope to splash within the next two weeks.

I have a good relationship with my marina guys, they always give me the combo to get into the yard and show me where the key is to turn on electric so I can work al, winter long.

Always last out and first in. Like I said before $100 plus two cases of cold beer goes a long way with the guys. They always make sure a go to the front of the line. Best money I spend all year.

Also helps to drop of a box of Jo and some donuts once in awhile to
Like I said before they work like sled dogs all summer, usually with out any thanks. I find that a little thank you goes a long way.....

Still partially frozen here - Mores Creek arm of Lucky Peak yesterday.

Expecting temps in the 50's so ice will be gone soon, however have to still fill up the tub - note the dock in the upper left.

Headed down the highway to Lake Powell in two weeks - pulled the boat out and will start looking for parts/pieces tonight after a good power wash.

I think we all need to buy some space heaters.
Place them outside and plug them in for a few days.
We need to start warming things up here in the north east.
Three nor'easter in a row :yikes:with lots of snow, enough is enough:banghead:
Come on everyone, a little bit of help here‼

Another thought is maybe stand outside and set off a couple of aerosol spray cans. We need some global warming
Getting really tired of this winter white stuff.
