This is my first spring with my boat, and she needs some cleaning and prep for the upcoming season. I had some moisture issues this winter (before I got the boat covered better), so I have some mildew/mold stains on the inside which must be dealt with. The deck is growing some mold in a few spots because she is parked in the Pacific Northwest. I'm gearing up for the tasks, but I would like some advice on how to proceed. What is your cleaning regimen? Any recommended products for mold/mildew? Thanks for any help.

For the outside

For the outside I use Clorox Cleanup and or Soft Scrub with a scrub brush. I've tried standing up with a deck brush but in the end I always end up on my hands and knees doing the old fashion way. If you want to be more environmentally friendly then white vinegar and baking soda make the classic cleaner from the past. For inside cleaning, maybe someone else can give you a tip on that.

ZEP Mold and Mildew

I use ZEP mold and Mildew remover. It's for bathrooms but you just spray it on and watch it turn bright white in 10 seconds. Rinse off. I get it at Home Depot by the gallon. You'll have to get a spray bottle.

prophecy fulfilled

So there I was in the cockpit on my hands and knees with a scrub brush and thinking, "Didn't I read something about this once?"
