I am looking for suggestions for cleaning the wood paneling in the cabin. Am thinking of using Murphy's Oil soap, but would like to put something else on it also - maybe Scott's liquid gold? Also, my rubber anti skid pads outside the head are deteriorating. Can replacements be bought? if so where? It looks like I could just scrape off the old. cb

Liquid gold or lemon oil

For non varnished interioirsI've used both liquid gold and lemon oil. The smell of the lemon oil can't be beat.

Murphy's soap

I have been happy with Murphy's Soap. Cleans off the mildew and lasts. Here in Norfolk, we have a hot, humid summers and that is a problem. I do all the wood twice a season, seems to do the trick. Ed Welp Alure Chesapeake, VA

Lemon oil worked for me

I got the cheapest lemon oil in Walmart and used it on my most recent boat. I used a more expensive teak oil type (not real teak oil but some Ace hardware concotion that you don't realize contains no teak oil until you read very fine print) on a prior boat. Cheap lemon oil looks as good or better, smells better, and seems to be holding as well. This wood actually looked worse than the prior boat's wood, at the start.
