Starting to get our Hunter 22 ready for the season, and would like to hear opinions about two products I am considering for restoring some luster to the fiberglass. One is New Glass 2 and the other is Island Girl. Thanx in advance. garyg
I have never used either of those products but there was a huge discussion here about the products and I think Island Girl won out. Look in the Archives for the full thread. Rob Morton
We've had particularly good results with Poly Glo on the hull topsides and Future Floor Finish on the rest of the exterior of the boat above waterline. YMMV. DON'T USE ISLAND GIRL, POLY GLOW OR SIMILAR ANYWHERE YOU'RE GOING TO STEP OR NEED GOOD FOOTING. Stuff gets a little slippery underfoot when wet or when dry.
