Another Mast mystery for me, 1982 H27 Cherubini, no spreaders on the mast when I purchased the project, and no holes to identify where they where (to bolt to the mast). There is however a tube welded to the front of the mast at about the correct height up the mast for the speaders, just about the lower shroud connection. anyway here is a photo hope someone can clear it up.

thanks John

That's my guess too. Definitely not the original mast. The project may be a bit more problematic than you anticipated. Hopefully some of the 27 guys will weigh in on whether the one you have can be made to work. I'd suggest posting pictures of the foot, head, and boom attachment point along with measurements of boom to foot and overall length of mast.

Thanks for the info, I will add some pics & info that may help or further confuse, but thanks for the help.

The mast is 30'-8" in length
the boom connection is 2 1/2 foot above the base
the mast to shroud connection is 14' above the base
the boom is a kenyon boom and is 9'-4" end to end
