I am re-rigging and repainting my mast. When I removed the spreader bracket the tube that the largest of the three bolts pass through which supports the compression loads moved. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it back to the correct location? I have attached a photo showing the tube.

I installed one of those kits on a C22. It was easy to position the compression tube by duct taping a few lengths of 1/2 pvc conduit together, cutting a slot in one end to hold the tube, taping the tube into the slot, slicing a break away cut into the tape where it passed across the top of the tube, and then sliding the whole thing up the inside of the mast into position.

Measure the bolt location from the end you're working from, and then mark your conduit accordingly so that you know how far to shove it in.

Once the bolt was in I just gave the conduit a yank; the slit in the tape opened up, allowing me to pull the conduit back out.
