Spliting the Refrigerator

I have just mounted a holding plate system in the 6.3 cu foot ice box on my 35.5. I am building a plexiglass divider that will divide the box in half. I want to use one side as a freezer and the other half as the refrigerator. I mounted the holding plate up high on the side of the box as I understand that the freezing line is the top of the plate. I have been told that for the refrigerator side, the plexiglass divider must have a section lowered to let the cold air from the other side spill over. I have also seen ads for a control flap the opens and closes to allow the cold air into the refrigator side. Could you offer some sugestions on the best way to do this.

Spillover system

The spillover shutter will allow cold air from the freezer to cool the refrigerator. The divider panel should be insulated to afford the best temperature seperation. There should be a 1 inch slot accross the top of the divider for the air to return to the freezer side.

Control Flap

Bill, does A-B make a flap device for controlling the interchange of cold air?
