Am I to assume that those that have viewed the video have done so with pleasure? I hope so.

that is what cruising is all about meeting the people and passing the time of day .....life is an adventure in the air on land and in the water

Nice work Terry,
I'm amassing so much video from my own trips it would be great to get it put into a cohesive video some day.
Maybe when I retire.......in 16 years......:(

What a pleasure to enjoy a video with such beautiful photography and great narration. Many members from our club have
chartered the Pacific NW but for some reason we've always headed to the BVI....there is a beauty and peace about the Pacific
NW...Thank you for sharing with us. Pat

Hi Mike, hmmm; I've been retired for that long, yikes.

This is my fifth video of our extended two month cruises that I've done over the years. Always a hoot to go back and watch those experiences. I have other DVDs of our son's weddings, backpacking trips with my sons, etc. What I also need to do in my second retirement is to consolidate all of my 8mm and super 8mm films onto a DVD.

My dad used a 16mm camera to take silent pictures of us growing up from 1948 - 1960. Those I have on VHS and DVD. What I did was to narrate the content while I captured the images from the projector screen using my first VHS camera. I need to do the same with all of my films that I took from 1961 - 1983. Bought my first VHS camera at about that time and I need to consolidate all of those onto a DVD. So much work left to do. Very time consuming.

I also have some film from my father that was transferred to VHS and I have been procrastinating in transferring it to DVD or a hard disk. The fear is that if I let go and it becomes impossible to find a VHS player that I will loose them. I think I still have an old VHS player laying around but have to see if it works. I previously failed to transfer some photos from floppy disks to other medium and now have not seen a floppy disk player in some years. We need to get that done.

Our local thrift stores have an ample inventory of VHS and DVD players at very reasonable prices. Good Will, St.Vincent dePaul, Value Village, etc. Panasonic brand always tops on my list.

I think i would get anything and everything off the film/tape medium and onto digital storage. You can edit later. That can be done pretty reasonably. Even Costco does a nice job although they probably farm it out. Btw, they just started doing metal prints that rival professional the pro print shops. They farm it out to Fuji labs
