Dear Sailors- I have an Oday 15, baseed in Goshen, IN that I have been very happy with. When I bought it, everything was in like new condition and seemed to be in order. With the coming sailing season approaching there are a few things that I would like to do to improve the boat. One is installing hatch covers/inspection ports in the fordeck and relpacing the one in the bottom by the main block. Where is the best place to look for these? I was thinking that the one in the fordeack could be used for storing a small grappling anchor or spare line, and the bottom inspection port does need replacing anyways. The other idea that had crossed my mind, was putting a spinniker rig on the boat. Is there anyone out there who has done this? Where can I find a kit, or what should I do, if it is possible, to rig it myself? Anyhelp you care to offer is greatly appriciated. Thank you and many happy days of sailing to you all.
