a few possibilities
I have an adjustable tack line, and two sheets (like a jib). The tack line runs from the tack of the sail to a block at the bow, and then back to the cabin top clutch. My Legend 35 has a pulpit seat, and that makes it a little hard for me to place the tack line block. I'd like to have it further forward (attached to the anchor roller), but the line then rubs on the seat. I then have two sheets, so the sail can be tacked like a jib. There are two ways to run the sheets: Inside and outside.Inside: prevents the sheet from ending up under the boat while tacking, but seems (for me at least) to offer more of a chance to foul the spin around the forestay.Outside: Easier tacking, more chance of fouling the sheet under the boat.
