Spinnaker

Have a spinnaker that came with my 23. Does anyone know how to rig this? Assume one would use the jib halyard, do the lines run aft thru the genoa blocks? Doesn't appear to be set up for spinnaker pole. Have seen a few pics, but they don't show enough detail. No sheets attached so would have to determine length needed.

there are 2 ways, depending on whether you have a sym or asym spinnaker, which do you have?

Not sure if is sym or asym. Will have to recheck when I have a chance and repost. If I were to quess I would say it's most likely sym. based on my inspection two months ago.

Need the setup

My 1973 23 came with a sym spinnaker, and has the following rigging:- Separate spinnaker halyard from block at the top of the mast (5/16" nylon x 62').- Block about 3/4 up the front of the mast for whisker pole lift (1/4" nylon x 30').- Ring mounted on the front of the mast at chest-high for whisker pole to hook on.- Fixed Block beyond the transom end of each genoa track for the sheets from each corner of the spinnaker (5/16" nylon x 41' each). The sheets return from the block to the winch and jam cleat.All blocks are the same factory items, sized same as the mainsheet block on the starboard side of the transom. Hope this helps.
