How to rig the foot of the spinnaker without conflicting with the drum on the cdi. thanx in advance 2end season rookie.

in picture? How strong? It appears the wind is from broad reach to quarter aft I have not been happy with flying my spinnacker and looking for any suggestions. I have given up except for a direct aft. I find a 150 Jenny and a whisker pole works best for me - since I do not seem to be able to get the Spin correctly.
