Folks, After acquiring a H25 last fall, I've spent the winter plotting the addition of a spinnaker to the boat. I already had a pole ring and track on the mast, and a spinnaker bail up top, and have since accumulated halyard and sheet blocks, line, and a pole. To make my setup complete, however, I need some pointers as follows:Where should I attach an uphaul block to the mast? - a percentage, above/below the spreaders, etc.If the halyard runs up the port side of the mast, and the spinnaker is set to the starboard side, the halyard will be dragged over the forestay- what do people usually do? - don't worry about it, lead the around the forestay to the downwind side?Due to the narrow cabin top and wide hatch, there isn't much room for turning blocks at the mast base to lead the lines back to the cockpit - can I get away with controlling uphaul/downhaul at the mast? Thanks in advance,MattPS. - anyone on long island have a h25 I can stop by and study? I still havn't figured out how all the reefing hardware on the boom was meant to be set up.
