chafing

Hey Ron, I know someone who built that device and encountered a significant chafing problem using it during a long passage. There is a device called "The Tacker" built by ATN that accomplishes the same thing in terms of keeping the luff of the chute forward but spreads out the loads on the furled jib. You can find it on page 325 of the Defender catalogue.
