Spinnaker Sheets/Dodger

Hay folks!

I am on this listserv and am reading with amazement the offers of help
and extended hands that you all are giving to each other, it truly is
nice to see.

So, I too need a little help. I recently acquired a spinnaker, but it
had no sheets with it. I was wondering if anyone out there has one and
could tell me what size line they use, and the length. Rather than
re-invent the wheel, I will welcome some help. In addition, I would like
to put together a dodger, but a sailmaker I contacted would like to have
a pattern. Does anyone have an old/dead dodger that they could
donate/sell so that I might be able to get started? Finally, is their a
supplier of the frame, other than the folks in Sweden?

So many questions, so little time. Thanks for listening and I look
forward to your replies.

As to the dodger, a/k/a "sprayhood," last year VAGB had "negotiated a special
price" with a company called:

C&J Marine Textiles
Clay Lane
Fishbourne
Chichester
West Sussex P019 3JG

The person to contact at C&J was Wayne Strickland, tel. no. 01243 785485

I have a poor quality scan of a picture of the dodger. Let me know if you'd
like me to send it to you as a jpeg file. One thing to notice is that the
dodger comes with an optional safety grab-rail -- which appears to be a vast
improvement over the thin aluminum support frame on my dodger.
