Hi does anyone have their H41 manual handy ? Mine is wrapped up for the winter on my boat. Can anyone tell me the suggested lenght of the spinnaker sheets for the H41Many thanks Tony Wilcox
Tony, If you are referring to an asym spinnaker, they need to be twice the length of the boat. This is because when you gype, the sail must flow forward of the headstay and then come back around to the other side.Unfortunately, I have no idea on a conventional spinnaker. In this situation, a call to Hunter Marine will produce an answer.John Richards/v Jack's Place
I've just taken delivery of an asymmetric plus lines made locally but looked at specs of optional spinnaker if ordered from Hunter. For my 44DS Hunter's sheets were 30m vs boat length of 13.2m ie 2.3 XThe halyard spec is 37m vs "P" dimension of 14.17m ie 2.6 XSailmaker agreed with these and this is what I've ordered - if it gets too long and I have to cut off a bit....much better than trying to do the opposite!!
