Spinnaker Rigging

I have a 2008 Hunter 36, and want to rig for a spinnaker. I can't find a point far enough forward to attach a tack line. Even somewhere on the anchor roller seems like it would harm if not break off the bow light. Anybody got the same boat or problem ?

I have flown a spinnaker sail for 7 of the boat's 8 year now. The block is placed on the bow roller assembly as shown in the photograph.

Stainless Bolt

I took the anchor securing pin out and put a stainless bolt with locking nut,I tried using just the pin but it would move out of one of the holes.
I would love to add one of those selden bow sprit.

Thanks Al, looks like you used the hole in the bow roller aft of the anchor secure pin. Still no problem with the bow light ?

Bow light is not a problem.

The bow light has never been a problem with the spinnaker using the tack block as shown in the picture. You will need to use a spring to make the block stand up or it will have problems with the anchor.

asymmetrical.

Then I will echo the previous replies that the bow roller pin offers an excellent attachment point. Ours has always worked well there.
