Well, my to-do list has one new item that has percolated to the top.I'm gonna run a spinnaker!I have a pole, I have a spinnaker. But so far that's it.My friend says that I need to install an eye to attach the downhaul (foreguy?) block to. This would be in the middle of the foredeck. But then, that line must be routed back to the cockpit (or is there a mast base option) ? Don't I also have to run cabin top fairleads and clutches and such? Are there any pictures that have been uploaded?Thanks,Royp.s. Got 6.4 knots on saturday out of that old MD6A with my new prop, so I believe that ends the list of engine related problems I have. Runs cool as a cucumber and no significant smoke. yay.

Uphaul block should already be fitted near the spreaders; downhaul goes to
the plate at the mast foot and uses cleat on mast, no need to bring it aft.
There should be a cord from piston rings on pole so you can let fly, or
remove from mast, easily when swapping ends and dowsing the sail.
There should be a block outboard near the aft of the cockpit for guy/sheet.Alisdair

Thanks. Fitting a block to the mast base sounds a lot simpler than punching more holes in the boat.I will look up those previous posts. I now remember the conversation on spinnaker. They are all probably still in my inbox as I knew the issue was comming up for me soon.
