I have a spinnaker pole on my 1982 H22 that's approx six and a half feet long. Does anyone know if this extends (I can't twist and extend it but it just might need a good soaking in vinegar to get it unstock)? Also, if I was running downwind would I connect one end to the bail near the mast bottom and the other end to the sail clew?
