Spinnaker handling barberhaulers or separate sheets and guys

I am attempting to fly the spinnaker for the first time, and I am not sure of the rigging. I have a forespar pole with bridle, dring for mast track, topping lift for pole, spin haliard ,down haul with foredeck block and fairlead to cam cleat. I was going to try just using a single line for each side with a barber hauler setup for each side, hauling snatchblocks down to toerail on guy side, and letting it out on sheet side. What kind of experience do the members have with this. It's not a huge boat or huge spinnaker but anything goes with a big puff.

Pictures worth words or something.

or my more favorite picture...

The Capri 22 is small enough that if you are in light air, the twings aren't real necessary.. anything above say 12 knots wind, and you may wanna twing.

Thanks for the reply. I may try a low.friction ring with a block at the rail.going to amidship.cleats.

Re: Spinnaker handling barberhaulers or separate sheets and

I just lashed a couple of little bullet blocks to the base of the midship stanchion and used a cheapo aluminum carabiner clip to capture the sheet/guy on each side. It worked fine, and was cheap and simple. Save your money for a sock of you're short-handed.

Re: Spinnaker handling barberhaulers or separate sheets and

I used carbo blocks and 1/4 Dacron from stanchion for barberhaulers. Had a nice light air night for experimenting with my first flight. It was really cool the way the boat came to life downwind with it flying, and man was it pretty in the waning sunlight.
