Spinnaker for H260

A friend gave me a spinnaker from a C22. Can I use this spinnaker on my Hunter 260? Do I need a pole or can you just run it up. All he gave me was the sail and I am wondering what other running rigging I need to get it operational. I do not have rollar furling. Thanks for any help. Tip in Corpus

If its asymetrical

you just fly it like a big genny ahead of your forstay if you have a spinnaker halyard in your mast. A symetrical spinnaker needs a pole. You will also need a line going through a block for the tack of the spinnaker and sheet(s) for the clew running back to your sternrails. I use an asymetrical from a Catalina 250. My spinnaker halyard exits the mast above the forestay and I attatch the tack to my anchor roller bracket. The sheets I run through a block on my sternrail and cleat to the stern cleats.
