Have a UK spinnaker and a ATN dousing sock that came with my 1994 29.5. I am trying to Lear how to rig and fly it. I found a couple of lines that were with the sail and I need to know if they are used with the spin and how. Thanks

The top line with the block could be used as an adjustable tack line, but the bottom one sure looks like a boom vang, eh?

You could be right about the vang, the boat has a rigid vang which could have been an upgrade and the original one was just stowed away.

Here's a good place to start. http://www.fxsails.com/articles.php I read and studied all 3 articles on asymmetrical spinnakers about a million times before my first attempt. I've used mine successfully several times and have also gotten frustrated several times. But dang spinnakers are pretty. Google for more articles and videos. Good luck and have fun!
