I am planning on purchasing a UPS spinnaker and furler from Doyle sails. Does anyone know where the best place to place the sheet block on a 1999 36cc? Also, what size and make block would you employ? To get the right angle it seems to me to attach the blocks to the aft cleats by way of a rope or webbing.

Spin Blocks

Steve, My gennaker sheets on my B390 are 1/2" I think (I am presently 600m from my boat). I run them to the aft mooring cleats and the blocks (talk to Worst Marine about size) are attached by webbing straps. The line of the sheet is not in perfect alignment as the lifelines are in the way a little. The system works well. I could run them through the genoa cheek blocks and then to the primary winch, but then I would have to unthread the genoa sheets. Some days as I thread my way through Canada's Gulf Islands, I love that genny, some days whoa...... a horror show. Good luck, Pete
