I had a mouse get into my turtle and gave me a few 1/4 inch chew holes in a few spots on the chute, 3 spots about 4"x4" each with a bunch of little chew holes in each area. Any repair advice? just tape it? send it in? patch myself?

its 3 years old and like brand new other than this.

Location of repair

holes in or near the 'corners' will need care in repair as thats where all the stress is concentrated

Holes near or towards the center can be easily repaired, simple patches will work; but better - use of PECO double sided adhesive tape under the repair will make for a 'less wrinkled' repair (this is NOT the double sided tape used in sail assembly but a tape that is used for permanently joining the panels on (some) spinnakers. For a 'small sized' spinnaker you can sometimes use just the PECO tape without sewing. The common sail repair tape will only be temporary ... and leaves a mess when you do the permanent repair; I'd recommend to avoid the 'common sail repair' tape.

If you want a proper repair, take it to a sailmaker. Spinnakers are 'easy' to repair and shouldnt involve high labor cost.
