Spindrift mariner?

Find a deal on a Mariner 19, but it is an 81 made by spindrift. I know the story about the owner's race boat in 82, but were there any issues with the Spindrift Onedesign boats that anyone knows of?

Doesn't matter, I guess. The deal was too good to pass up so I am picking it up this weekend.
