I know this has been posted before but I could not find it in the archives. I've got this residue from spiders on the hull. I've even tried a high power spray washer and it won't knock this stuff off. What can you use or do to get this stuff off. The odd thing about it is it's mainly on the side that faces open water. Spray with Simple Green.
Let it soak for five minutes, and hose it off. You may need to use a soft brush for real stubborn spots. That stuff really works. Tom s/v GAIA

Mean Green
We have a cleaner here that is called Mean Green that is great for spider poop. You spray it on the spots while the deck is dry and then use water to wash it all off. Doesn't take a power unit to remove the stains. Trouble is that the spiders are faster than me.
