I disconnected the power to my autohelm tridata speed and depth indicator and when I powered it up again, it asks me for a code. Unfortunately, I don't have the code. Can anyone help? Vince

Security Code

Vince, Autohelm cum Raytheon cum Raymarine introduced an anti-theft code whereby, if a unit is removed from a boat, it asks for the security code when next powered up. One does not need to set this up but it looks as if you or a previous owner has done so. I suggest you get in touch with Raymarine - or the previous owner. With any luck you might find the code noted in the instrument's handbook as this is unlikely to be stolen when the instrument is taken. I expect that Raymarine, or one of their repair agents, will be able to nullify the code but they may require some proof that the instrument is really yours. Also this might apply to all the other instruments if you have any so ask about these too. Regards
