Hi, I am trying to transport my 1980 33 up from North Carolina to Boston, and the one measurement I can not seem to find, is from the bottom of the keel to the top of the deck for highway clearances, anybody have any thoughts? Thanks, Eric
Add your draft freebord & house = X Place 2x4 across house hang a tape on the end measure to water add to draft if its in the drink ,or if dry to keel.Better yet I sail it up for you and save you some cash.
You have the best opportunity to get a few of your friends and sail that boat to Boston. Granted it is still a bit cold but give it another month and use the time to plan the trip. You can take your time through the ICW or take her offshore and ride the Stream up. Either way you will save money and get a lot of satisfaction.
